First and foremost, we love what we do. This is our passion. There are plenty of other good reasons too:
We were there right at the beginning, making websites when most people didn't even know that the WWW existed, before you could even get a home Internet connection in NZ. We also have extensive experience in software development, mostly developing applications.
"Content is king". The content (for the most part, words and images) is the most important part of your website. Useful, detailed content helps your customers to make a purchasing decision. If you're not comfortable writing content, or just too busy, we can engage copywriters to refine what content you do have, or even research your products or industry to come up with unique, interesting content to attract people to your site.
We keep on top of what's happening in the web and software development world. We follow new technologies, we read blogs and newsgroups. We play with all the new development toys. We attend conferences and workshops. We have our own little library which we are constantly adding to. We make a point of studying topics that affect our work, like graphic design, interface design, usability, accessibility, standards, patterns and best practises.
We're not graphic designers ourselves; though we have some experience in that area it's not our primary line of business. However, we understand design principles and we know great design when we see it. We have good relationships with a number of designers and will choose the one we think best matches your image, or we'll work with your preferred designer to bring your vision to life.
